Didascalie Brut is a light-coloured champagne with a fairly dense appearance, its very pale yellow gold hue enlivened with sparkles of bright lemon yellow. The visual impression heralds a fresh and subtle champagne.
At first sniff, Didascalie Brut offers up notes of preserved lemon, hazelnut, honeysuckle, butter and pear. After leaving it to unfurl for a few minutes, it releases notes of almond, quince, plum, apple, blackberry and cherry.
The first contact with the palate is supple and fresh accompanied by a creamy, well-blended effervescence. Didascalie Brut develops a voluptuous, fruity and crisp body underpinned by lemony zesty acidity. The mid-palate is marked by a sand-and-clay minerality that gives it a supple and full-bodied structure with a hint of salty sea air. Its powerfully vinous nature is tempered by a dosage of X g/l producing excellent freshness. The finish is tender and accessible.
